Soap, Candles & Sewing at Market

On Saturday's from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. you can find us at the North Square Farmers Market in Chambersburg, PA.  This past Saturday, for something different, we set up an extra tent beside our display to demonstrate how we make the things we sell!  Through out the morning I made Lavender & Oatmeal Goat Milk Soap and Lavender Lotion Candles.  My sister Joella, also brought her sewing machine and sewed wallets.

  1. I love soap and was making glicerin( sp?) kind for a faremrs market last year but it did not sell well. My sister does an Il farmers market and sells little girl clothing and my other sisters nature cards, wash cloths - knitted and more things.
do come over but you may nto be able to follow me. It just will not work.

  2. Love to see pictures of you all in action! What a great idea to demonstrate to your customers the steps to make your products!

  3. How fantastic! I would love to try making soap at home...but it seems to be such an expensive thing to get started on...? I love handmade soaps best! :)
